Mid-Year Academy

This information is being provided to all first-year students returning to WVU and the College of Education and Human Services in Spring 2022 who achieved below a 2.0 overall GPA in Fall 2021 and are now placed on Academic Probation.

A series of Mid-Year Academy activities are being designed to assist in your efforts to achieve academic success in the spring and to help you obtain an overall 2.0 GPA (or higher) at the end of the spring semester, thus removing you from Academic Probation.

All Mid-Year Academy activities will be required and need to be completed by the time classes start on Monday, January 10, 2022.

Students are encouraged to repeat courses where possible and perhaps sign up for Educational Psychology 101, a course to help you with time management and study skills.

Please contact your advisor no later than December 17, 2021, to discuss options, resources, and tools to help you make your setback a comeback.
