Students must apply to graduate during the semester they intend to graduate. Please see the WVU Registrar's step-by-step instructions.

Would you like to walk in the May 2021 Commencement Ceremony, but you still have credits to complete? Request permission to participate in Commencement Ceremony prior to completion of degree requirements.

What to Wear


Graduates must wear traditional regalia (academic caps and gowns), which can be purchased at the downtown or Evansdale WVU Bookstore, 304-293-7467 or online from Herff Jones. No regalia will be sold at the venue.
