Dr. Robert Kefferstan

After completing a BA in mathematics at Dartmouth College, Dr. Robert (Bob) Kefferstan began his interest in struggling students while earning a Master of Arts in Teaching at Harvard Graduate School of Education. After public school teaching in Vermont , NH, and Ohio, he became a student in the Learning Disabilities Doctoral Program at Northwestern University. He completed the EdD in Special Education at West Virginia University and is retired Professor of Education at Waynesburg University and also contributing faculty member in the PhD Program in Special Education at Walden University. Additionally, he has taught at Morgantown High School, held various positions at WVNET, was Interim CIO at WVU as well as faculty member at the WV Governors Honors Academy. He is a Benedictine Oblate at St Vincent Archabbey and was recently named Volunteer of the Year at WVU Medicine Ruby Hospital and Chestnut Ridge Center.
