Past Event Information

EVENT: Friday, March 28, 2014
CEHS Faculty Research, Service, and Professional Development Committee aims to the sharing of student research among colleagues within the college and beyond. This event with provide our Doctoral students, Masters candidates, and undergraduate students with the opportunity to promote their research among WVU faculty, Staff, and friends. Each participant will receive a certificate of participation and pizza on the day of the event.

WHEN: 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
WHERE: Allen Hall, sixth floor

AWARDS for research merit:

Graduate Awards:
$300 first prize
$200 second prize
$100 third prize

Undergraduate Award:
$100 prize

All forms of research are welcome, and work presented elsewhere (e.g., work presented/to be presented at a professional conference) is appropriate for this forum. All presentations will be in poster format. Guidelines will be sent to presenters after the application is received.


1. Faculty collaboration is welcome, but the first author MUST be a CEHS student.
2. Co-authors are not required to be students in the CEHS, but the first author must be a CEHS student.

This abstract should include:

  • Project Title
  • Name and email of point of contact (preferably the first author)
  • Names of all authors, and their department(s), program(s), level (doctoral, masters, undergraduate, faculty)

Please proofread your information carefully—it will be used for the printed program and changes cannot be made after acceptance.
