MAKE THE COLLEGE OF Education and Human Services YOUR CHOICE
(formerly the College of Human Resources and Education)
Most major gifts to the University are restricted to particular areas of a college, school, department or program. However, needs arise unexpectedly. Donors have an opportunity to contribute unrestricted dollars for WVU’s greatest needs. They may include scholarships and loan funds for needy students, laboratory and library acquisitions, scholarly travel, or extra learning resources.
If you receive an annual invitation to support WVU programs, you may designate your contribution to support the Greatest Needs College of Education and Human Services.
The most common outreach efforts include the University Fund coming in the form of an annual gift request via phone call from students working with the Mountaineer Line or direct-mail appeals from the WVU Foundation.
CEHS efforts include special requests to fund endowments, special projects, programs, and research from cash gifts, pledges, and assignment of assets and planned gifts. Capital campaigns are special university initiatives to generate awareness and support for long-term projects.
